The Nambucca Valley Motors School SST Carnival Day is to be named after Cr Michael 'Cactus' Moran. The Games Day will remember and celebrate the legacy Michael 'Cactus' Moran left to the youth of the valley. 'Cactus' worked alongside his friend Louis Ballangarry for many years guiding and supporting children as they pursued a sports pathway. Hence, the SuperStar Touch Carnival has been named the “Cactus Moran Cup.”
